In 1976, AEA embarked on the journey of servicing ribbon microphones, eventually assuming full control over the production of all parts for the iconic RCA 44 by 1998. This pivotal moment inspired AEA to introduce their rendition of the legendary 44, giving rise to the birth of AEA Ribbon Mics.
