Volt 2 Max’s dual Tone Shaping Preamps deliver up to 60 dB of gain, with three distinctive character modes on each channel. Warmth adds rich tube-like character, Focus brings solid-state clarity and definition, while Shine delivers the open presence of a classic British Class A circuit.

Onboard Max Processing adds six one-touch compression presets for vocals, guitars, and bass, inspired by Universal Audio’s legendary LA-2A and 1176 compressors. Combined with the three preamp modes, you get 18 character combinations for shaping polished, record-ready sounds as you track.

Independent 48V phantom power on each channel supports condenser microphones, while 32-bit conversion at up to 192 kHz captures your recordings with exceptional detail and clarity.
