Tone Shaping Preamps Bring Character to Every Take

Give every recording the character and dimension it deserves. Volt 1 Gen 2’s Tone Shaping Preamp delivers up to 60 dB of gain, with three distinctive analog-inspired modes that let you shape your sound instantly.

Warmth adds the rich, rounded character of a classic tube preamp. Focus delivers the clean definition and detail of a solid-state design. Shine adds the open, airy presence inspired by British Class A circuitry.

Switchable 48V phantom power lets you use your favorite condenser microphones, while high-resolution 32-bit conversion at up to 192 kHz captures every nuance of your performance with exceptional clarity.

Whether you’re recording vocals, guitars, or instruments, Volt 1 Gen 2 helps your tracks sound polished, full, and studio-ready from the very first take.
