The SPL Transient Designer gives you the power to shape audio envelopes with unmatched precision—completely independent of signal level (no threshold needed). Effortlessly speed up or soften transients, extend or shorten sustain — using just two intuitive controls: Attack and Sustain.

Differential Envelope Technology

SPL’s Differential Envelope Technology (DET) enables precise, level-independent processing of a signal’s dynamic characteristics using differential envelope tracking. With just two controls, you can intuitively shape the transient response. The intelligent envelope trackers adapt in real time to the natural behavior of the input signal, ensuring optimal results at every moment.

Stereo Signal Processing

The SPL Transient Designer 4 MK2 offers several useful features beyond individual channel control. With the Link function, you can process stereo signals by linking channels 1+2 or 3+4—where the left channel acts as the master.

Additional convenient features include an On switch for instant bypass, allowing you to easily compare processed and unprocessed signals. A Signal (Sig) LED also provides visual feedback, lighting up when the input signal exceeds -20 dB.
