Mastering-Grade Flexibility and Precision

Each of the PQ’s ten bands—five per channel—can be individually engaged or bypassed, with the option to switch every band between Constant and Proportional Q for ultimate control. In Link mode, the right channel governs the left, including Bypass and Constant Q settings, ensuring perfectly matched stereo processing.

For finer adjustments, the 1/4 Gain switch scales boost and cut ranges from ±20 dB down to ±5 dB, enabling the subtle, surgical moves essential in mastering. Stepped potentiometers with 41 precise increments make accurate recall simple and reliable—an indispensable feature in professional mastering workflows.

Auto Bypass for Objective A/B Comparisons

Making accurate decisions in mastering requires true objectivity. Rather than manually switching between processed and unprocessed signals, the PQ’s Auto Bypass feature handles this automatically—allowing for seamless, unbiased A/B comparisons.

By removing the need to leave the sweet spot, Auto Bypass keeps your focus entirely on the music, making it easier to evaluate subtle changes with confidence. The Interval control sets how frequently the unit alternates between the two signals: fully counterclockwise provides the shortest interval, while turning it clockwise gradually increases the duration between switches.
