What is Silk?

In its initial iteration, the Silk circuit featured a binary switch —either on or off — introducing a predetermined, pleasing harmonic saturation to the unit’s output stage.

Taking a innovative leap forward, the Texture knob on the 511 is engineered to fine-tune the actual quantity of harmonic content derived from the source material.
